Sudbury Pines Extended Care has a Resident Council that is comprised of our active patient population. All resident\u00a0are invited to\u00a0attend and vote on programs and activities. The Resident Council coordinates diverse events at the facility. Funds from Fundraising endeavors such as craft and bake sales are often used to help residents acquire personal effects or they are used for quality improvements as recommended by the council.<\/p>\n
The ‘Council’ regularly meets with the Department Heads\u00a0for updates on changes and to ask questions. This forum is often how new governmental regulations and policies are updated so the residents are educated on the\u00a0most current\u00a0changes facing the Health Care industry.
